Enrollment & Ownership

To sign-up for a 4-H project, each youth must join 4-H as a member in either a community club or an individual family club. For more information about enrolling as a member, please call the 4-H office at 303-730-1920 or visit our Join 4-H page.

Please note that 4-H animal ownership deadlines are different than enrollment deadlines for the horse project, as well as dogs, breeding beef, and poultry meat pen. All other animal projects have the same deadline date for enrollment and ownership. Animal ownership must be noted in your e-records.

4-H Horse Ownership Deadline for returning and new members: May 1st

 Required Forms:

• Animal Care and Housing Form– Required if your horse does not live on your property.
• Code of Show Ring Ethics Agreement – Members in ANY animal project must complete the Code of Show Ring Ethics Agreement.  
• 4-H Lease Contract – Needed for Horse and Breeding Animals. This lease is one example to use.
