Requirements

Enrollment & Ownership

To sign-up for a 4-H project, each youth must join 4-H as a member in either a community club or an individual family club. For more information about enrolling as a member, please call the 4-H office at 303-730-1920 or visit our Enrollment Page.

Please note that 4-H animal ownership deadlines are different than enrollment deadlines for the horse project, as well as dogs, breeding beef, and poultry meat pen. All other animal projects have the same deadline date for enrollment and ownership. Animal ownership must be noted in your e-records.

Horse Advisory Committee Meetings

Meetings of the 4-H Horse Advisory Committee in Arapahoe County are on the third Monday of every month (except January and August) at 6:30 pm at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. Months where the third Monday falls on a holiday, it will be the third Thursday. Officers for the upcoming year are: Rhonda Dinan, Suzy Sefcovic, Shauna Frericks, and Sue Sarasin. Your input is important to them and you are invited to attend! Questions? Call 303-730-1920
