4-H Scholarships

Dozens of college scholarships are available to local 4-H youth, with many application deadlines falling between January and May.


2024 AC 4-H FOUNATION SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: February each year
The Foundation offers $1,500 and $2,500 scholarships for outstanding graduating high school seniors enrolled in Arapahoe County 4-H.


Colorado 4-H Foundation Scholarships
Application Deadline: March 1st

  • 1st Choice After School Kare 4-H Youth Scholarship
    A $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a college-bound outstanding 4-H high school senior each year.
  • Colorado Agricultural Development Authority 4-H Youth Scholarship
    Five $1000 scholarships are awarded to entering college freshman enrolling in an agriculture-related program. The scholarship may be used to attend any Colorado college or university with an accredited agriculture program.
  • Bill & Barbara Holthaus 4-H Youth Scholarship
    Three $1000 scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding 4-H members.
  • Kimberling Family 4-H Youth Scholarship
    A $500 scholarship is awarded to a 4-H youth that has exhibited food animal projects at the Colorado State Fair and is enrolling in a pre-vet program at Colorado State University.
  • Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply 4-H Youth Scholarship
    A $1000 scholarship is awarded to a college-bound outstanding 4-H high school senior each year.
  • Portouw Photography 4-H Youth Scholarship
    A $300 scholarship is awarded to a student that has completed at least three years in 4-H photography and has entered their photography in the Colorado State Fair for at least two years.
  • Audrey Sandstead 4-H Youth Scholarship
    A $400 scholarship is awarded to a student enrolling in their first year in the College of Applied Human Sciences.
  • Howard E. & Marjory M. Smith 4-H Youth Scholarship
    A $1000 scholarship is awarded to a college-bound outstanding 4-H high school senior each year.
