Please sign and return to your dog project leader by January 1st (returning members) OR April 1st (new members).
E-Records
E-Records are required for 4-H members to document their progress on their project.
Enrollment & Ownership Deadlines
Please note that 4-H animal ownership deadlines are different than enrollment deadlines for the following projects: dogs, breeding beef, horses and poultry meat pen. All other animal projects have the same deadline date for enrollment and ownership. Animal ownership must be noted in your e-records.
Re-Enrolling Youth & Leaders – Jan. 31 – Ownership Deadline –May 1
New Members in Existing Clubs – April 1 – Ownership Deadline –May 1
Add/Drop Deadline (All projects enrolled in after this date must be completed) – May 1
To sign-up for a 4-H project, each youth must join 4-H as a member in either a community club or an individual family club. For more information about enrolling as a member, please call the 4-H office at 303-730-1920 or visit our Enrollment Page.
Cat & Dog IDs in 4-H Online
All 4-H Dog & Cat Project members are required to upload an animal ID in 4-H Online. This is done in 4honline.com. The deadline for completing the Colorado 4-H Dog & Cat Identification is May 1.
Directions to add an animal ID:
- Log in to 4honline, using your family email
- Go to the member page
- Scroll down to list of family members and click on “edit” next to your name (just like enrollment)
- Click on the “Animal/Livestock” button at the top
- Choose your animal type: Dog or Cat
- Select “Add Animal”
- Fill out the information and upload your animals’s shot records and photos
- Click on “Save”
A printed copy of your online Colorado 4-H Dog & Cat ID is required for your e-record
