In this op-ed, antwan jefferson, PhD, and TeRay Esquibel dive into the findings of their Engagement Report: Family Decision Making, which synthesizes the combined conversation of families in communities throughout the Denver City area and centers community voices and perspectives on how they use information to make schooling/educational decisions for their children.  This report becomes increasingly important as the Denver Public Schools (DPS) Board of Education considers changes to the DPS School Performance Framework (SPF) later this month.
