Garden Myth Busting: What does the science say?

June 25, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

From using coffee grounds, epsom salts to eggshells in the garden, what does the science say about these and many more garden additives and handed down advice. I’ll bust the top garden myths and suggest researched garden practices that work!

Betty Cahill has been gardening in her Washington Park garden since 1996. She grew up in Billings, MT and learned about gardening from an early age from her mother and aunts. She has an education degree from the University of Montana. Betty enjoys teaching about general landscape care, along with vegetable and herb gardening. She is known in her circle of friends as the basil and garlic queen!

Betty has been teaching gardening classes at Denver Botanic Gardens and surrounding area since 2000. Betty is also a garden blogger and contract writer. She has written the popular “Punch List” for The Denver Post since 2012.
