Back to School? Colorado Students Reflect on New Pandemic Realities

August 12 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM MT I  Online Webinar

As Colorado students prepare to enter their second school year disrupted by the global COVID-19 pandemic, they are continually forced to adapt to a widely different school system and way of life.

Join high school students from Young Aspiring Americans for Social and Political Activism and Colorado Youth Congress as they share their perspectives on starting an unprecedented school year.

You will be able to listen as students reflect on how the pandemic has disrupted their own learning and how they feel their rural, urban, and suburban districts have responded.  Students will also offer suggestions for parents, teachers, and community leaders on how to support young people during this time, and what their future learning should look like as districts prepare for the fall semester.  RSVP for this free event here.  Need translation? Make sure to leave a note during registration!
